Pay it Forward is a blog series where I pay forward the love to one of my favourite blogs. So far, we’ve featured Maggie, Daniel, Dianne, Amber, Allie, & Amy! This week, it’s the turn of Jenny from Sunny Sweet Pea.
Why: Jenny is just nice. I can’t remember when or why I started reading her blog (the internet, a rabbit hole of links since the beginning of time) but she’s one of my favourites these days. Her posts are often insightful, inspirational and very genuine – she’s one of the few bloggers whose sponsored posts I don’t mind in fact!
She likes books, the outdoors, keeping fit and travelling around the UK – all things I can relate to, for sure. If you like delightful British people then definitely check out her blog, I think you’ll like it!
My favourite posts:
“I’m a goal setter. I set goals. For everything. Professional goals, personal goals, sporting goals. You name it, I will set myself a goal. It doesn’t mean I’ll achieve them. For example, I want to do an olympic distance triathlon this year. Have I entered one yet? Have I heck. The thought of doing one makes me panic.”
“There’s a difference between doing things last minute because they make you feel a little uncomfortable and never doing anything, because your scared of the unknown.”
“Perhaps I’m not writing anything worth responding to. The last thing I would want people to think is that I’m inaccessible or too busy and important to reply. I’m not. I’m boring and glued to my phone.”
“We woke up on my birthday morning to the sun rising over the foggy valley. I opened my extra little gift from Ben – a moleskine notebook and a quote from C. S. Lewis. written inside.
“You can make anything by writing” “
If you’ve got suggestions of people that you think I’ll love please let me know, I’m always looking for new blogs to follow! 🙂
